TEAM Learning Center’s Academic Coaches are certified and credentialed educators. We set achievable goals and maintain focus on learning, equipping our  students with strategies that enable them to learn effectively, solve problems, work cooperatively, and live a life of curiosity and engagement.

One-to-one tutoring traces back to the ancient world, when emperors employed master teachers to educate their children privately. It was the best form of educations, reserved only for the elite. Today, almost every student in the United States can take advantage of the benefits of one-to-one tutoring.

Contemporary research studies support the effectiveness of one-to-one instruction. Individual tutoring improves performance on standardized tests, teaches students how to learn effectively, helps students with learning disabilities to master subjects and study skills, challenges advanced students, and gives students additional help as necessary.

At TEAM Learning Center, credentialed teachers, who are also known as Academic Coaches, provide all instruction in a one-to-one setting. Our Academic Coaches are specially trained educators who identify the best method of teaching for your student’s individual needs and learning style and develop a curriculum especially for him or her.
